Evidently I have a lot of catching up to do here. Starting from the bottom up - we went pumpkin hunting two weeks ago at the Emma Krumbee farm. We were blessed with beautiful warm weather. Then again last night for trick-or-treating it was warm. No snow suits needed this year!
The boys were soooo cute trick-or-treating. Such little guys going up to the doors by themselves and saying "trick-or-treat" and almost always remembered to say "thank you". With only some slight prompting from us mom's waiting on the street. We had to practically drag them around the second half of the block. We only went that far because we had to visit Aiden's previous daycare lady down the street. She was the half way point. Their candy buckets got pretty heavy. This morning Aiden only wanted candy once. I think his cousin is keeping him busy enough that he forgot about it for awhile. We are having a weekend sleep-over while Gayle attends her mystery quilt extravaganza. Boy can Gavin snore! It was kinda cute and oddly a comforting sound. I think all the boys (puppy included) will be exhausted tonight. We have a few surprises in store to keep things interesting.

GUTS! Finally Aiden would touch the guts! It's all he could talk about. Before we carved the pumpkin Aiden told Grandpa Randy on the phone that he was going to see the guts.

He found the perfect pumpkin. Unfortunately we couldn't carve it because Milo chewed it up and it rotted.

Great costumes! Sounds like the boys had a great time. What's this "electric" pumpkin carving knife...do they seriously make such a thing? If so, we desperately need one!
