Saturday we went to our city fire station's 125th anniversary open house. We had a good time. They had a jump house and Aiden was able to "drive" a fire truck. They also did a live demo of a house with and without a sprinkler system. They had two demo rooms setup like little living rooms. The firemen set a fire in both and showed how fast the sprinkler system would work as compared to how fast they can show up. I think it's definite consideration if we build another house to pay the $1500 extra for a sprinkler system. It was also nice to meet the men and women who work so hard to help keep our city and homes safe.
